ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Brooke and welcome to my portfolio. I grew up in a small town in Northern California where my love of photography began when I was around 11 years old. I first began taking photos on my dad's first iPhone and I remember taking photos of everything I found interesting. After a lot of saving up, I was able to purchase my first digital camera in 2016. Since then, I have taken my camera with me on all sorts of trips and adventures. In high school, I took two photography classes so that I could better understand the world of photography and the importance of lighting, angles, shutter speed, and aperture. During those classes, I was also able to play around with Photoshop and gain a basic understanding of the software. Today, I attend Texas Christian University where I'm pursuing two degrees in Political Science and News and Media Studies. Photography is a hobby that I hope to continue for the rest of my life, but I would be happy to consider working on professional projects.
